Matariki picture

Me and my friend Ngapera drew this picture and it is about matariki

we drew a marai, farm, waka fish and other things when we first heard about 

it I planned very fast and I said let's do this. After the 2 last weeks we got half the picture

done but we still had a lot of work to do so the first day back to school after the 

holidays we started to colour but it was difficult to find the right colours.

Then on Tuesday we found the right colours and started colouring but there

was one thing that we forgot and it was the drawing we forgot to draw the 

rest of the picture so we got our pencils and started to finish off the drawing but Ngapera 

had to go kapa haka because they were doing a performance on friday that was in 2 weeks.

After a week we were almost finished with our picture but there was more to finish like

our drawing colouring and our writing for the picture but on the last week

on Thursday we got our writing and colouring finished but the drawing was not 

finished but it was okay until Ngapera outlined the marae with a black 

vivid and it looks like it got smashed but we got it done but it was just the farm that 

we didn't finished. It made me feel very happy.
